I think Ive just knackered feeding day! Orlina, being the little git these days food wise, wasnt going to strike so thought I'd sit but leave my hand in with the mouse incase she took it. I stumbled, mouse flew out the tongs and landed square on Orlina's head. Needles to say she's took off into her hide
Looks like its going to be a long night waiting for her to trust coming out again |

Aww, LOL, been there done that!
Dropped the rat on top of Saada and she said she was Traumatised ...
Tell you what, if Orlina's anything like Saada, just try leaving her the mouse overnight, and there's a strong possibility that tomorrow you'll wake up to no mouse, a bulgy snake ... and six inches of snow ... |

Aw, thanks, Nok - yes. pics are a real problem. But GMac said a while back that he'd post me some up if I mailed them to him ... when I get them. I keep meaning to get a cd off my phone's memory stick - it won't work with this pc. I've tried to contact photobucket re wonky account but no joy. However I've got one reasonable pic of Shahi on the camera on this pc and as I'm moving Surahi into her new viv tomorrow, hoping to photograph her then. Saada (there's always one isn't there?) is shedding ... But thanks again, I really appreciate it.
Sorry to hear about the snow, yeah, we're marooned in the middle of an inner city glacier here ...
And what's all that about women being nosy???
I tell ya, men are ten times as bad!!! |

She must be forgiving, she came back out lol
Dangling the mouse about for a while and no interest until I decided she wasnt going to take it then I pulled it back to bring it out and BANG full on strike hard n fast just like the Orlina we know and love big chunky mouse too 46g, Ive got another 2 for her so I'll stay up as long as I need to. If she takes them as well that'll be 118g of mice |

First time I got Diablo to strike feed I messed up as well, Was holding him up by his tail while he was constricting the mouse waiting for him to feed (I hold him so he doesn't let go of the mouse and decide not to eat it) my arm started to ache after about 10 minutes and so I tried switching hands and his grip failed, he fell about 40cm into his rub and scarpered xD |

Congrats Nok, commmiserations Kel
Sounds like Diablo's got a taste for mouse though!
Corncob through a venetian blind ...lol!
The nosiest male I ever knew was a cat called George. He was huge and looked like the Beast of Bodmin and he used to glue one eye to a knothole in the fence and watch the lady next door gardening. He got his comeuppance one day when she switched on the hosepipe, poor old George! |

Aw Danny, why are you depressed?
Yeah, it was funny with George, mind you he only got a couple of drops of water on him, and I apologised to him afterwards for laughing ... he was a big gangsta cat, demanded his respect. |

my grandad died on wednesday night, he was diagnosed with lung and brain cancer about 7 weeks ago, was told he had months to live, then he strated kemo 3 weeks ago, and that made him very very weak, ended up getting a chest infection on wednesday, they called dctors and everything, got told an ambulance would take him to hospital but he wasn't an emergancy, then about 2 hours later, he fell unconcous, so ambulance became maday, then in hospital we got told he had maximum of 4 hours to live and if his heart failed then they would not resusitate him. sorry to have to tell u all. just needed to tell someone to make me feel slightly better |
