New bunch of photos of the lovely Diablo :)
Here is Diablo pretending to be a bracelet!
Here he is trying to escape along the bed!
And here is a little size comparison for you all.
Now at this point I'll tell you a little story- last feeding day Diablo was taking ages to finish his mouse (My light was still unguarded so I took him out to feed him in a cardboard box because I forgot last time that he tried to strick the lightbulb seeing how it was hot :P)
So! I got inpatient having another 3 snakes to feed and decided to lift him out (he was feeding ontop of a piece of cloth, some kind of curtain) so I lifted the curtain and placed it in his viv to let him finish in peace. A few moments later he finished and I went to take the cloth out and as I opened the glass this happened.
"Hello! Who is there?"
Over the last few days while he digested the mouse I left him in his new little makeshift hide as he seemed to be enjoying it, and he's so cute!
He loves it! I've yet to see him actually leave it unless I take him out- and when I put him back he's straight back in, burrowing through all the layers of cloth ^^
Here is a picture of my very white hand trying to reclaim him into my grasp!

LOL I'll take a massage from anywhere, better get that burm bought, I hear their massages are powerful.
Duke is obsessed with my face at the minute so I tend to avoid putting him too close until I'm more confident with him. I'd hate for him to bite I'd have to bite back. |

It was Sunny today so I felt the need to get my camera out incase anyone didn't believe me that the sun came out in england.
And while I was at it thought I'd take some snake pictures too!
First up are some shots of Cleopatra (Who funnily enough is now exactly the same weight as Diablo)
She was hiding in her cardboard hide (Made from a DS box :P)
Here are some shots of her nice head
Next is Diablo, he is easy to find as he's too lazy to fully enter a hide.
This is him eating a mouse a few days ago
And here is him playing in the sun (Notice the way the sun shines on his perfect scales! :D)
I took the chance to get some close-ups as I found out how to make my camera work at close range!
Scar was balling up today (A few weeks too late for the competition damn him!) and I got some shots that really show some of his scarring.
And lastly I tried to get a good Periscoping picture of Valhalla as she taunted me from the height of her vivstack.
"What are you doing down there!?"
She is doing the sitcom thing where they stare blankly up into a corner of the room and enter a flashback or daydream!
And lastly a nice shot of her top half

Good news: We have some nice pictures
Bad news: After holding her for a while (my theory was correct) and her breathing and wheezing really picked up, she's booked into the vets tomorrow.

Wow thats a big snake, and a pick pocket too. Lovely. You can sure tell that Val weighs a fair whack. Loving the beerkats by the way.

Some new pictures of Cleopatra doing her namesake and Pandora being awesome (I'm aware this is technically the royal python photo section but I have this thread linked to various other forums to see "all" my snakes so hopefully nobody cares there is a boa in here :) )
Also for those interested we weighed Pandora at about 11.5 kg |
