Do Royals sleep ? and if yes how can i know if mine is asleep or not ?
seems like a stupid question , but i really want to know

I'm sure they sleep a lot (oh boy wish I could sleep like a snake!) but with their lidless eyes I reckon it's impossible to tell. Also they're so super-alert that even a breath would have them instantly awake.

Actually someone somewhere must have done some work on this, as I'm sure I've heard David Attenborough mention about a snake's body rhythms slowing down when lying immobile. There's a video somewhere - I'll see if I can find it.

Yeah I think I saw that as well, he said something about them being able to lay on the spot for months by slowing down all his systems, then when he eats his heart grows like 4 times bigger and stuff, I probably exagerated all of that but who cares snakes rock.

Yes! 'fully grown python eating a deer - life in cold blood, BBC' (sorry I can't post links but you can google it.)

It's fascinating - and the deer is dead before the start of filming.
