The usual practice is to wait until the snake's eyes clear, and then install the moss hide, or even just put the water bowl in the warm end to gently up the humidity.
Hope he has a good shed for you. |

I cant be bothered with mossy-mess I just chuck a damp face cloth (or flannel if your a northener) on the hot side hide and it does the job perfectly and without all the muck. |

A moss hide is simply your normal hides with some damp moss in there. Or you can use a lunch box with a hole cut in it with moss in.
Or a damp cloth draped over the hide. Anything to give the humidity a little bit of a rise for a few days. |

Or just put his water bowl in the hot end = extra evaporation = more humidity.
I'm a lazy git and use this method in preference to messing about with moss hides. Well I did at first but not many snakes will actually use them, although just by being in there they WIlL raise humidity - anything wet will, hence Lazy Lil's water bowl routine. |
