At last! Here is my hand made viv with wicker storage area. Sadly, Boris is still not sure enough of his new house so he refused to pose for the camera!
I'm just a teeny weeny bit proud of this so felt the need to show off!
And here's the boy!
The wicker baskets were a real find, they just happened to measure the depth of the viv and 3 side by side with dividing board ended up exactly the width....couldnt have planned it better! Just wish the fabric bit wasnt blue...i hate blue! Oh well!
The total job, mdf, paint, varnish, ceramic lamp, 3ft long cork bark, storage baskets, bla bla bla....cost well under £100. so it was well worth the effort!

And a beautiful piece of work. Ha, know what you mean about irritating colours/designs, but if you found some fabric that pleased you, and fixed it round the bits of basket that showed ...?
Minor detail though - that's a professional piece of work; you must be really proud. |
