hi people thankfully monty has stopped making his weezing noises and has been checked out by a vet and its all good although hasnt shed yet.was just after some advice about feeding he currently has a small mouse very week. he is currently about 2 and a half months old. should i be getting on to bigger meals or feeding him a couple of small mice at a time?

I believe the guidelines say between ten and fifteen percent of the snakes bodyweight is the ideal weight for his food to be :D

LOL - Kelf - I only quote Blackecho's feeding guide, which everyone knows ...

Yeah, 10/15% of the snake's bodyweight, under 400g feed every 5 days, 400-800g feed every week, it's a good idea to get a royal on to rats as this will be more practical when the snake's an adult - by then you'll be feeding one rat per fortnight - having to feed several mice would be fiddly.

Glad he's got the all-clear from the vet. All the best with him.
