| Well my big lad has hit the kilo mark and has just moved up to 150 gram rats, every 10 days for now while I monitor weight gain on them. He took his first (156grams) on Sunday and wow he handled it just fine. Amazes me how their neck stretches. |

Wow congrats - good old Duke!
When I see them scarf down a big rodent it always reminds me of the verse about the pelican - his beak can hold more than his belly can!
Except royals have pretty capacious bellies too... |

Well he surprised me, he refused his meal last night, a most unusual event, I checked him today and he is as blue as a freezing cold and depressed smurf. I think that gives him a good enough excuse.
Sanke shed last night and I checked Spot today expecting a smelly pile and was greeted to another blue snake. |
