Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee did it , Blitz eat WohoooooooOooOoO I'm so happy .... this is my best day ever

he struck at alive small hamster, coiled around it for few sec, and in five minutes the hamster was in Blitz belly
It was amazing watching him eating !! even my wife enjoyed it, although she's not much into snakes like me.
I'm so proud of Blitz and so happy too ....

Sorry couldn't take pics (except one ) because i was afraid i will disturb blitz with the flash, i will upload it later
Good night everyone

Woohoo, not so much a good day for the hamster (lol) but he got lucky and had a good innings. SOOOOO pleased for Blitz, you'll not be able to stop him now, all the hamsters in Syria just kissed their asses goodbye.

Thank you BATS, GMac and Bob thank u all very much ..

LOL, indeed Bob, there will be shortage in hamster's market in Syria this few months LOL ..

Should i try another hamster today, Blitz's head still out of his hide, looks like he is waiting another meal to come ?
almost 5 months is not a short period, a small hamster won't be enough i think.

Firstly, again, congratulations!!! Good things come to those who wait, as they say... unless your a hamster of course ; )
I have pet hamsters, so better keep a close eye on them X )

I would leave it for a while before feeding again just 'cause Royals have a really slow digestion period. Wouldn't want him having tummy ache after he's been such a good lad.

Just me and my zoo.

Yes, as BlueDragon says - I'd give him a week. I've known my lot behave like this after their adult fast ...then, at the next mealtime, actually refuse and be a bit on and off. After that they settle down and REALLY eat, bless them.

He'll be fine - he's got something in his belly now; won't hurt him to wait a bit. Hope you're enjoying your hols; it's a lovely part of the world.
