Gobbledygook and garble!
It'd be funny except there are some people who'll take it seriously ... |

It's frightening what people will believe ...the other week I got chatting to some kids in the street (they sometimes stop me and talk snakes, bless them) and one of them was telling me about some relative of his who'd found a half dead mouse in a trap and fed it to their boa ... I explained about the dangers of live feeding/parasites infesting wild rodents - hopefully that might have done some good ...hopefully ... |

This is exactly the kind of bull moose that the internet is full of, I got very lucky I happened accross TCS and i'm so glad I did, I will happily say I did research corn snakes, I discussed in depth their care with the shop and in my opinion was sold equipment I didn't need and didn't have equipment I definitely did need. I'm not one to keep things to myself, I went and discussed this too and I have noticed there are different options available now, though stats are still optional extras. Anyway I waffle on, lol, its sad that there isn't a better way of policing the net not just for animal care but all the absolute rubbish out there. |

i agree. when i was given a bearded dragon last year my local pet shop said its fine to keep them on woodchip which aint good for then but i found a great forum. same when i got my corn i was lucky to find TCS straight away. previous owner had no stat in the tank and was feeding her every 3 days! good forums are definatly the way forward |

What a load of bull pap. I mean... what?
The only small glimmer of truth I can find there is the 'don't stroke them backwards' bit. But that's it, and it's not much.
It is upsetting, but with so many genuinly useful places around the wab these day you can only hope people will come across one of those, and not something like this >: (
Yep, I agree. Moron. |
