Nice to see some more baby royals that are eating, and I tend to feed mine 15% of her bodyweight every 5-6 days. But if you have a rat that is a couple of % over, then don't worry, she will still manage it |
When on the Forums, always be nice, stick to the rules and help when you can.

Shes never been a problem eating with me, i waited a week after getting her before i fed her for the first time, and since then she has struck every time. Im looking forward to feeding her bigger prey, ill get to see a proper sized lump work its way down her throat :) |

Sorry about my lack of replies recently guys, i got a bit bogged down with uni Ive got some new photos of kax, I was so proud of her when i took these because it was the first time she has eaten in about 3 months, i'd almost wondered if she'd forgotten how to strike (ridiculous i know)
Guarding her food
I Kept an eye on her after she dragged it through her substrate, made sure she didnt get any stuck to the rat
I missed a snap of her yawning by a couple of milliseconds... curse my slow and bad quality phone camera. |
