It really depends on where you live somewhat,As prices vary from place to place.
Have you looked on preloved or the other places :) |

£200!!!
Traditionally, believe it or not, adult normal royals are sold by weight - £10 per 100g. When I bought Surahi she was 1300g+ and I paid £135 - a bargain since she's a dinker.
But as others have said, depends on area and eagerness to sell too.
Hope you get your girl. |

never knew it was £10 per 100g. just wanted a rough price as i should be getting the 2 royals and setup from a mate for £120 but i only want the female for future breeding. my brother in law wants a python so will probly sell the male to him |

Wow that IS a bargain as long as they're in good condition and eating well - I paid £150 for Saada plus comprehensive setup ie 3' viv, IR bulb guard and stat, top quality equipment including java branches, exo terra large hide/dish, loads of plants and other hides.
If you've got a home lined up for the lad, I'd go ahead. |

hes been trying to sell them to me for months, wanted £300 at first. saw them once years ago an the looked ok. all i know is their male an female adults in a 3ft viv with a heat lamp and no stat so not good housing conditions but selling the male will cover the cost of a new stat |

That sounds a very fair price for an adult normal male.
I paid £60 for Shahi as a cf10 hatchling in Jul 10 though hatchlings do command higher prices, especially in shops. |

meh, just sold a male normal for £40, (supposed to be female). If you wanna wait you should normally average £50-60. But if you are getting £70 then you are onto a winner as that makes the female + viv £50, all in all, good deal. |
