Iv now got to build a viv for my boys beardy, its basiclly the same unit as iv used for my stack

but its going to be on its side, so its got more of a run.

Any suggestions on how to do it? like venting, light, how much glass front ect ect.

Thanks.

Looks good for splitting in 2 and doing what you did on the other one, bit more ventilation as they like it dry. You'll also then have a spare viv for a new critter or storage or a new critter.

The size is 2 1/2ft x 2ft x 1ft 4inch,, so on its side he will have a 2 1/2ft run and 2ft high. At the momment he is only approx 1ft long including his tail. I know it wont last forever, but at the momment he`s in a viv more suited for a snake (i`ll have to fill that with something when im done then )

Vent wise im thinking 5 of those big round one`s, i think they are about 57mm.

Ye that will only do him for a bit, if I was you i would just buy the big final viv, as even a 2.5 ft viv is a bit small for a lot of adult snakes!!
