I weighed Oscar approx 5 weeks ago and he was 920g, I weighed him again yesterday and couldn't believe it when he tipped the scales at an impressive 1315g!!!!! OMG. I did increase the size of his rats after the last weigh in, but even so. Has anybody else had such a huge weight gain in such a short space of time?

Earlier this year my Shahi, cf10 male, gained 350g in 7/8 weeks ...4/8/11 900g empty ...30/9/11 1250g empty.

When a man's gotta grow ...he's gotta grow!!

Good on yer Oscar, nice one!

79 Grams a week on average is a big weight gain and probably a bit more than the rat its eaten so my thinking is food + growth = 79 Grams and he is still retaining meals in his digestive system.
