Hey people. Totally new to this site, thought I would join as I have just recently purchased my first royal baby. And my first question is this, what is the best way to measure the little critter? Lol. Thanks |

i let them spread themselves along the bottom edge of one of the three foot vivs and mark it. then get the trusty ruler out and measure the length from that. the most accurate way i can figure of doing it. |

Scrap measuring them, its impossible to get an accurate measurement, go by weight instead. I measure the shed skin purely as a guide, it wont be accurate as skin is stretchy but its the least wriggly way of doing it and probably no more or less accurate than the other methods.
(Though with his last shed Duke is evidently 3mm X 74,683 pieces, shed measuring doesn't always work) |
