First question - are these "pythons" royal pythons?
For each: you will need a rub Thermostat (mat stat) Heat mat (low wattage) 2 hides water bowl Thermometer some plastic/silk foliage
Thats for a basic setup
If you already have the, how are they housed now?

Hi, David, this is the thread I always post up in response to queries re new setups - it's got loads of info.

Keeping them together - well, there's always a debate about that, and I do have an open mind about cohabbing, but personally wouldn't with royals, but just my opinion. It's not writ in stone.
And welcome to the forum. |

if they are under 3ft then a 2ft long viv if over 3ft a 3ft long viv, this is what i personally do
so for each royal you will need
correct size viv heat source, either ir or ceramic bulb bulb holder, ceramic holder if using ceramic bulb thermostat, pulse or dimmer stat for ceramic bulb, dimmer stat for ir bulb guard, this is a must to stop the snake burning themselves on the bulb 2 hides for each viv water bowl substrate fake leaves a log for the snake to rub against while shedding 2 digital thermometers, one for hot end one for cold end
don't think i have missed anything. personally i use ceramic bulbs for heating but ir is just as good |
