Hi all as you may know I am getting a new snakey ( Pastel female ) !!!!!!!!

And I setup the rub with habistat mat stat

And I have left if few days and I can't see to get right temps

Any ideas

What temperatures are you getting and how and where are you taking these temperatures?

In the hot end it's 28.4 and cool end 22.6

Lucky havent got me new snake yet any ideas lotobob I could try and higher the habistat up it is on 32 or there about

yes the thermometer probe needs to go under substrate at the bottom of the faun.
if the temps are not getting there, then raise the stat more, the stat temps that you read arent accurate, so you saying its at about 32, and your reading it at 28 sounds about right. raise the stat temp untill you read the desired temp

What if it goes over 32 willl have to lower it or if it just like 32.6. It should be ok

thats fine, the temps will drop and reheat on a mat stat, so i would try and aim for about that. my females temps are 31.8-33.1, very rarely gets up to 33, but thats the hottest iv seen it at

When the light goes off it usually means that its not heating, or at least on mine it does

I find with my mat stat that there is a large temp range, for instance it will heat up to nearly 35 degrees and then stop until the temp drops to about 28 before it comes back on again.

but also remember that mats dont heat evenly they get hotter in some parts and not in other areas

Green light off means the stat has kicked in and turned the mat off. if the green light is off and its not upto the desired temp turn the stat up until you get the right temp.
