hi have been using kitchen towel insted of bark chippings lately as it seems cheap and very easy to clean, just wondered if any one else uses this? another point what size rat is the same as a medium mouse? as would like to get my guy onto rats soon

Hi, according to one of my suppliers a rat fluff weighs the same - 20g approx, as a medium mouse. You can always ask the shop to check the weight.

Yes, lots of people use kitchen roll, or newspaper or the plain 'lining paper' available in rolls from B&Q. I use kitchen roll for my 2 smallest corns as it's easier to find snake mess.

i did start to use kitchen roll and news paper
but didn't like it as when they went for a wee the news paper would be soaked

ive gone back to aubiose now

i use kitchen towel in his feeding tub,and i have just started to use kritters crumble in his viv ,which i like the look of,its a fime crubled coconut husk.

I'm using a sheet of newspaper in Fea's faun. and kitchen roll in Slinky's. Slinky because he had mites which look to be gone since I took his coconut hides out..easier to see black specs

I used kitchen roll to for the first month, then switched to bark just because I think it looks more natural.
