Hey guys, as some of you know i've got a bit of a fear of spiders, frankly they scare the hell out of me.
however today at my local exotics I decided to experience holding a tarantula, it was an adult female chillean rose and she was a darling. Surprisingly heavvy but friendly and slow, I was happy holding her but five minutes was enough and had to get the shop manager to take her off me haha.
just thought i'd share that. |

Good on ya Kelf..I have thought about doing that..maybe next time I visit..I rarely do tho..last time was to pick Fea up :)
Its moths that i'm petrified of ..least you can watch a spider to see where it goes lol moths always fly at me! |

congrats. ive always said i would never hold a tarantula but got my chilean rose a while back an acctually held her at the weekend.
she rarely does anything, get yourself an OBT |

| Noooo, i'll consider buying a very friendly chilean but if I do i'm also going to be buying a spider-eating lizard just incase the tarantula escapes lol |
