The only problem I can foresee is with the glass if it's toughened glass when you try to cut it with a glass cutter it will shatter into a million pieces other than that looking good mate

Thanks bats iv not figured how to post a youtube link from my phone yet,

I dont know if the glass is toughened yet but if it dosnt work its not like the glass cost me anything so no big loss lol

The viv inc caves and background has cost about a tenner so far and not much left to do, time is the only thing its really cost

I used about 3 or 4 spoons and and about half a mug of water, tip: skim the froth off the top of the coffee and watch that when you paint it on, dont let it build up in the gaps to much otherwise it gets a bit sticky

Great info!

I've been thinking about some D.I.Y myself and this is just what I needed to know.

One quesion, what do we use to stick the backing onto the tank itself thats safe? I've seen in a few other posts some people using wallpaper paste for various things, I assume this is safe for the snakes? And would this be strong enough to use to stick poly onto the backing board?
