Damien has now not eaten for 5 weeks he goes through patches of eating weekly and to be fair two weeks ago he shed but still not eaten I have now left it in there with towel over the viv!! I hope he eats soon

5 weeks is nothing in the grand scheme of just how long they can willingly go without food. Have you tried braining the mouse / rat?

He's a royal. At this time of year his mind is on other things. He won't starve, honest, although I agree, they're annoying little gits. Got three of them at it myself lol.

Do hope he eats for you soon, but if not, he'll live on his fat and start stuffing himself again in a few weeks' time.

Yeah Duke took a 4 month break from food. Its just like skipping breakfast to a Royal so dont worry about it at all.

My 1 1/2 year old boy went from Dec 26 to March 5 without eating. It's breeding season....and he is male! They can go 6 months if they are a good weight to start.

My Sunny hasn't eaten since mid November. She did it last year too but she started eating in February. I do hope she starts eating soon.

Ah same here Pete - Shahi hasn't eaten since Halloween. But he and Sunny will start eating soon.
