So I've been an the hunt for a female Fire since picking up my male last month, and since Kelfezond let me down last week (you will be hearing from my solicitor ) I'm struggling to find anything of interest for sale.
Can anyone recommend any good websites to have a gander on, preferable classifieds sections rather than individual breeder / exotics sites. I've been trawling RFUK for a couple of weeks now, and occasionally check out Preloved and the captivebred classifieds section. Any others??
I'm keeping my eye out primarily for a female fire, but also looking at cinnys and a couple of other single genes, something to hopefully breed Ifrit to later this year, if he plays his cards right |

You'd really need to stick to reptile/snake forums to get these morphs up for sale, you would be remarkably lucky to find them on gumtree/preloved etc.

Any forums of note Bob? I check out this one, RFUK (but never post) and Captivebred - any others?
Cheers Delboy - I reckon if we keep the pressure on Kelf, he might just crack :D I'm hoping to pick up something a little older than a hatchling ideally. I'm not just being cheap either, I'm happy to pay the right price for the right snake, but it seems there are just none for sale! |

My partner spends alot of time on Facebook and there are a lot of reptile pages that people sell snakes and equipment on, I have just picked up my male pastel for what I consider to be a steal, if you are interested and use Facebook I can get some links. |

you will be lucky to find an adult fire female for sale. alot of people will be breeding any that are big enough to breed, and will be growing on any that will be big enough to breed next season. you dont really find many adult females for sale, and when you do, they fetch a high price tag. i now someone selling an adult 1800g female pinstripe and is asking £1300. your best bet will probably end up being to buy a baby fire female and then grow it up, or to buy a normal adult female and breed that to produce your own baby fires. |

Hi Danno thanks for taking the time to list those, that's really good of you - I'll be having a good scout tonight
I fear you may be right Danny. Two big females (fires) came up for sale the other day, the guy wanted £1600 and 1500 for them - just a little out of my price range!! The guy that I picked Ifrit up from had just sold his 800gram female fire for something like £350 including 3foot viv - shame to have missed that one.
I've noticed that as we're coming to the end of this season more big females are being listed, so with a bit of luck something nice will come up - I'm not just looking at Fires, will consider any co-dom morph with the exception of spiders really, but only if the combinations produces something pretty for me to keep back for myself
If all else fails I have Monty who might be ready for early next year, espcially if her appetite carries on like it is!! |

I'd normally suggest RFUK classifieds but they appear to have been offline since Sunday night for some reason .... very strange . |
