monty is in blue again and I have read different reports as to when the humidity should be raised some people say as soon as they go into blue and others say wait until there eyes clear, what do you all think?

i raise humidity with a wet flannel when i see their eyes go blue

1.1 normal royal, sully, silver

As soon as I see any of mine go blue, up goes the humidity.

I've heard it said that they don't really need the humidity till their eyes clear - but being a lazy git I put the water bowl in the hot end as soon as I notice a snake in blue, partly because then I don't have to remember to keep checking it, and partly for the snake's sake as it won't like being disturbed.

However with my royals and my carpet I keep their bowls in their warm ends permanently and rarely see bad sheds, so that's lazy of me too, but it does work (well in this house; all houses are slightly different as to heat/humidity of course.)
