what kind a light emitting one? If it is,it will work, just have to switch it off at night. But then the temps might fall below what you need. |

So waterfall= total junk So you're going to have a night bulb, day bulb, uvb strip?
If your not going to use plants, you don't need the uvb.Unless it's for viewing etc.Id just get a ceramic bulb, can even use a Ceramic plate heater,or a red bulb.Forget about the hood and use a dome etc.
A magic eye stat would still work better m8,As if you sleep in,or are out and not there to change the temp yourself. The stat will do it all for you.

Remember you have to clean it,and without it being a natural viv,the moss will die.If it's the packs of moss you can buy,ie sphagnum moss even get goes bad after awhile.Starts to smell and just looks bad etc.

ahh okidoki ill avoid that completely apart from one of the hides ill place in there :P ill put a heat mat in also and put the water bowl on it but ill keep it at a low temprature just enough to increase the humidity i think that will work without causing any trouble :) |

Yeah you can put it in a wet hide etc,and abit here and there. You also don't really need to heat the water.or even bother with the mat.
A spray two times a day.will keep it up.You can over do the humidity with them to.Theres nothing stopping you putting potted plants in there. They will help keep the humidity up. |

I have six chameleons,some in natural vivs,some with just potted plants,They don't die ;)
Just need to know the right plants to use,But i have all the lights and crap to.If you did use potted plants,it would help to have a uvb strip or plant strip. There are plants you can get that would be fine. |
