temps have dropped in Peanuts viv, set the pulse this morning to 32,
never thought anymore till I just went to check him.
The stat dial is at 32 digi thermometer is showing 30.
Checked it with another d/t and it to is showing 30.
Is it likely to be the stat or the bulb on the way out?
How do you know if it is the ceramic? what do they do if they need replacing?
If it is not the bulb and is the stat can it be fixed? snd how long would i be without it if i sent it back to the people that make them?

| Cant you just turn the stat up a fraction past 32*C, or is it as far as it goes? Is 30*C the surface or ambient temp? |

| Thermostats are not particularly accurate, you have to calibrate them with the thermometer. |

how often are you doing this? i did and i have a seperate thermometer in there which was reading the same as the digi |

| I ignore the temp guage on my stats purely because it is generally way off, I have digi thermometers to check the temps. |

I am always checking the temps...but i am now just wondering if i hit the sensor on the stat with water yesterday when i gave the viv a quick spray as Peanut is not using his moss box...and is shedding...

well its ok now, i checked earlier and its gone back up...normal thermometer is reading 91 as well so i am ok now..
