hi i have only had my royal for 2 weeks now and am
still trying to find out how old him/she is
and would like to get him/her probed to.

him/she has had 2 feeds in the 2 weeks i had him/her
is about 22/23 inches long and i weighed
this morning and was 100g, so just wonderd so i
can have a rough idea of his age, thanx.

is that an empty weight?
i think that depends on how well they've been feeding?
to put it this way:
when my royal was 8months old, 50cm long(bearing in mind he hadnt been feeding well, was dehydrated and generally in a bad state) he weighed 100g and that wasnt an empty weight either!- i was told by Blackecho that he weighed little more than a hatchling....
so, yours could be quite young, or was a bad feeder at some point...?
only 3ish months later and he now weighs 160g empty so it's improving :)

see its all new to me, but you dont know wot they was like before you get them, but he seems to eat ok so will hope to see his weight go up abit soon.

its great the moor i come on here and read the more
i learn, its helped me alot.

Cat's exactly right, without knowing the history its very difficult, but I would guess late '08.
