How often do you lot handle your royals? Im just interested.
I handle Zavvi every day. She comes up to the front of the Rub and looks straight at me then tries to get out. She seems to like it and feeds so its not a problem for me but i have to admit i handle her more than Henry at the moment. Henry is being stroppy this week! |

Normally a few times a week, but when sherman's been fed not until after he's had a poo. |

I've never lasted more than 10 days Vicki with one of mine - 1 week to settle in, 1 feed and then a couple of days to digest. |

not til after hes had a poo after feeding... mine has only pooped twice (maybe 3 times) in nearly 14 weeks... i would never get to handle her...

We only handle ours on Mondays and Tuesdays. If we handle any closer to feeding day she doesn't eat |

that actually quite sound advice you've been given vicki, i was having problems getting Queenie to take a feed when i first got him, i stopped handling him and he started feeding more regularly. best off getting the feeding established first as it can become a huge issue |

That's all part of the fun- learning what your royal likes and dislikes. They are funny snakes, but when you find out what works for you and your royal it's quite rewarding |

Did you weigh her?
I'd suggest trying every 3-5 days and keeping an eye on the weight to make sure she's not losing a lot, if any.
What's your setup like?
Are you feeding in the viv or out? |
