Well I think this might be the end of this thread.

After spending most of the day driving to and looking round various pet shops I came home with a background for Sid's new viv for when he's ready for it, and after putting that in I thought I'd give him a stuart and see what happens. Bearing in mind he hasn't eaten since the beginning of this thread, so I wasn't that optimistic.

Seeing as he is on newspaper at the moment I decided to not disturb him and feed him in his tank, so I danced the stuart around outside his hide up and down for a while, just when I thought he wasn't gunna take it, lightning fast he struck out and pulled it into his hide, with me nearly crapping myself lol!

I sat on the bed in front of him watching from a distance til I knew he had swallowed it all.

It's not so exciting for anyone else but I have been so so worried, now he seems to be through it and he's eating again!!!!

Hehe.

I actually wanted to ask everyones opinion, I want to get Sid feeding properly again, then move him to his new 2ft, but I also want to try him on Rolands, is he more likely to refuse after the move so shall I delay the move and try him on Rolands first, or move him and then carry on with Stuarts til he's settled?

Does that make sense?

I would only change one thing at a time if I were you, whichever way round you do it.

i agree with BE but i'd be tempted to leave everything as it is now to try and get a regular feeding routine before making any changes at all

Yeah that's the plan but I just don't know what to do first after that. I'm gunna make sure he's feeding fine before attempting anything, probably like 4 successful feeds.
