Well he's in shed again now, going just as bad as last time, even with the humidity kept around 62/64%. Ugh.

By the way, I know this is a mistake on my part, and all I can say is that I just never noticed, don't know how, but I checked on the website of the store I got him from and it turns out he's an CF08... not a CB, so is this why I'm having problems?

CF isn't the end of the world, Queenie is a CF08 too.
when they first arrive in the country they're often stressed and dehydrated from travelling. this should be rectified prior to being offered for sale, along with being treated for internal and external parasites. shedding problems shouldn't be affected by being CF or CB.

Me, again.

Sid is mid-shed at the moment, seems to be going a bit better, it is coming off, just in loads of pieces.

The query this time, is that I went in to check his temps and humidity last night and in the corner he had left a pressie for me! There were 2 urate balls (at least I think so, kinda chalky white balls that look like chewed chewing gum) and like 2 pretty impressive... uhrm .. *tries to think of a polite word* poos.

But these were like full on, human looking poos, obviously not quite as big but still nothing like what my corn does.

Is it normal for them to be quite so big and quite so much all at once? No bathing involved by the way.

It kinda threw me a bit too the other day but the other way round. It was a couple of days after Matilda (the chav corn) had fed so I thought that I had better do a poo patrol. OH MY GOD!!! I thought that it would be a nice, tidy, royal-style poo that was not overly smelly. How wrong I was .

I got a card game for christmas called Plop Trumps and the Royal only got a 6 for smelliness. Think the creators need to do more research

.... I'd love to be a fly on the wall at your house on chrimbo day Kaz... the pressies sound so cool!

Update on sid - got all the shed off tonight after a long stint in the bath (poo free, don't think there was anything left in him - lol. ) and a session with towels and tweezers. It's so amazing how gorgeous he is once the shed comes off.

So now its back to ignoring him then I'll try a feed in a few days.

Look for the kid's book called "The Little Mole Who Knew It Was None Of His Business". Full of Poo related hilarity, my kids love it .
