I keep reading everywhere that you have to use hanging porcelain light fittings with ceramic heaters. Is that correct?
Also, if that is the case, has anyone found anywhere that sells one that is fixed (not hanging) in porcelain?
As I posted earlier both of mine like climbing and I don't fancy having the ceramic swinging around the viv. Cheers . |

You dont have to have hanging ones, there are ones with screw holes on both sides for a secure fitting. |

In porcelain? Or is that another sales gimmic to make you buy their own ones? I read that the plastic fittings aren't up to the job because of the heat given off by a ceramic element. Where have you seen them? |
