We went to where we got draco yesterday to see if they could feed him. They managed to force feed him gently after failing to wiggle a fuzzie and assisting. They said afterwards that its normal for them not to feed in the winter. Just wanted to know if any of you have the same problem. Oh yea, we bought a tortoise for my brother and two leopard gecko's for my sis while we were there.

I would personally say that the Royal would have more damage done to it force feeding than leaving it to its natural fasting. A lot of Royals fast at this time of year as they would in the wild, especially if they are coming up to breeding age.

Was your Royal losing a lot of weight?

All we've tried is rat pups, fuzzies and pinkies. He's doing fine right now.
