i know you have prob anwsered this type of question before but is 1 samll mouse every 5 days about right? my snake was born in 08 and is about 18-20 inches atm

the rough guide to size of prey is...

he size of prey needs to be the same size as the width of his body at its wides point.

A small mouse will quickly become too small for a Royal.

my 08 takes a small mouse every 5 days, i keep trying him with large mice, sometimes he'll take it sometimes he leaves it so then i offer him a small one which he takes. i want to get him onto rat pups sooner rather than later though....... that reminds me, i need to email you BE!
