it could be to do with the product licensing over here. it costs quite a bit for UK-standard testing and all the relevant paperwork required. |

Provent-a-mite is not in the UK??? WHAT??? MAN! That's the only thing I used for mites! It works like a charm. A lot of breeders use them in their quarantine rooms. Man, they are popular in the US, so I'm sure they are big enough to go international. I wonder if you can order it online and have it shipped to the UK... or maybe I can ship you one of mine. Maybe there's some customs thing that prevents it from getting shipped out. That sucks. |

i believe you can, you can get round customs by ticking that it's a 'gift' HOWEVER i ordered some horse medication which is licensed in australia and the US (it was withdrawn from the UK market but i used to use it and it was good stuff!) and had no end of problems. a £220 order (me and a few friends to save on delivery) on 29the September, finally got my money back 13th January this year after emailing every week! |

I got frontline once from Australia, not a problem with it coming in. I am actually thinking of getting some PAM either from a seller on ebay or online... |

Not sure which Frontline you guys use. I didn't know they make Frontline for reptiles. I use Frontline for my dog. But, my understanding is that mammal mites and reptile mites are not the same thing? Like the mites that is on the rat that a snake eats cannot survive on the snake and likewise, the mites living off the snake cannot transfer to my dog. I don't know, I remembered reading that somewhere but I'm not quite sure if I understood that correctly. |

it's the frontline spray for cats and dogs anatess. it's used for fleas and ear mites in 'small furries' but can also be used for reptiles and takes 48 hours to fully work |
