It'll just be some meds to kill off the parasites. |

doesn't sound like tapeworm, they tend to come out in flat segments, could be something like roundworm? easily treated with something like Panacur 2.5% and likely to have been contracted from an infested mouse/rat. |

Only experienced it with my cats!!! I would assume it's fairly easy to treat, good luck |

hey guys went to the vets tonight about the tapeworm in my royal. they said i have done nothing wrong, i have to give her a oral medicine once a week, they think that she could have had it since she was born or had a dodgy rat. shame. hopefully she will get better soon it only cost me £38 as well i thought it wasnt too bad. |

just curious, what medication did they give you? usually it's a fenbendazole product for roundworms or a praziquantal one of tapeworms |

i will double check and get bk to u but i think it is the praziquantal one for tapeworms. its the same stuff they use on cats and dogs i seen it on the bottle when the vet gave it to her. |
