One of my stats has decided it doesnt want to supply heat anymore. I have even put the temp probe into the cold water bowl for 10 mins, it did nothing. Any help?
(habistat mat stat, power light remains on)

| Its definatly dead. Im now setting it up to run the corn and royal off the same stat, not ideal, but its better than a hot water bottle. |

The corn was fed 3 days ago but has pooed in the last hour so im not worried. I had been meaning to feed the royal for the last two days but kept forgetting to take a rat out of the freezer, glad I didn't now 
By altering the depth of substrate I have managed to get them both at 28*C. |

| sounds like the probe/wiring/stat then, is the green light on? |

| Nope. Its must be the probe becuase its not activating the heat. |

That's exactly what happened to ours Matty- I was gutted too because I initially thought it was the mat so bought a new one- then realised it was the stat. Gutted- could have saved myself £17.  |
