hi, bought some wood from my pet shop and put it in my viv with some of the wood about 10cm away from the heat lamp, was just wondering if there would is any possiblity of the wood setting alight?

I wouldn't think so if the heat source is controlled and it's not actually touching

It will be fine at snake temperatures, I believe wood ignition is at ~350C.
