this is Ra's viv, it's a 2ft one, heated by ceramic bulb (caged) on a pulse proportional thermostat, probe on top of substrate directly under bulb. temps on separate digi thermometers read as 31.8*c hot end, 28*c cool end (prefer cool end to be cooler, but with this ruddy heat >.<) just checked, and for once this thermostat has it right and says it should be at 31*c LOL (Athena's rub is on a heatmat, the stat is set at 24*c hot end... but it is actually 32*c in the hot end on 2 separate thermometers. imagine my shock when i had the stat set at 32*c, stuck the thermometers in and they said 45*c....@_@)

i will be moving him to a bigger viv once he hits the 400g mark i think, but he's only about halfway there.
Athena has (had...? still waiting for anymore signs of them) mites, so she is in a pokey rub but all things considering, she's getting better tempered in the few weeks i have had her and has started eating now (was an aggressive non feeder when i got her, i can now put my hand in the rub without her trying to detatch it from my arm, and she has so far eaten twice :D)
this is the tikki hut (a few months ago before he outgrew it >.<

any suggestions, i am more than open to hear it, only moved it all around a couple of days ago and haven't really shown anyone yet.
just realised i also bunged in another plant earlier, at the back between the hide on the left and the waterbowl.

god yes, i hate corns LOL even though i have them. not sure what the deal is with that lol. i think it's cos my adult corn pees and poops all over me everytime i get her out cos she's so nervous (13 years old and hardly every been handled, i have only had her since the 3rd of may) and my little one is just like a colourful slow worm. i am giving that one to my daughter for her birthday though rofl. |

royals are my fave, though they are a pain,
i brought my first one for my son for Christmas then he got really sick and we thought we would lose him, but he is still hanging in there..lol..
now i have three with two more coming..
