HIYA
HEFFA HAD HER LAST SHED NEARLY 5 WEEKS AGO, WHEN HOLDING HER YESTERDAY, i DISCOVERED SOME FLAKEY SKIN, SHE DOESNT SEEM TO GO THAT DULL AND HER EYES HAVE NOT CLOUDED OVER. THIS WASNT THERE AFTER HER LAST SHED, SO COULD SHE BE PEELING. TO BE SURE, I HAVE PUT A DAMP HIDE IN HER RUB THIS MORNING, BUT HER HUMIDITY WAS SITTING AT 64. MY ROOM HUMIDITY WAS 62, SO IT IS IN LINE WITH MY ROOM LEVEL.
DO YOU THINK I SHOULD JUST LEAVE HER OR TRY TO REMOVE THAT PIECE OF SKIN?

Leave her, as she is a baby, they usually shed around 4-5 weeks and less as they grow bigger. She is probably due to shed now, so leave her and see how she is afterwards. |

Ok, thanks.
She had her last meal on Sunday, and is due her next feed tomorrow, as i feed her every 5 or 6 days. Should I try and give her a meal tomorrow. Last time, she ate but i starved her when her eyes clouded over.
She really gets me going, as she doesnt go as cloudy as all the other snakes pics i see, if this because her humidity is not high enough? |
