Ok so i just tried a strike feed and not much for 2 mins then the mouse slips out my fingers.
Literally 3 seconds later he's got his head out of the hide and above the food,so i had to leave it.
I had paper down but after a few minutes checking it out he grabs the head and drags it back into the hide where it's just substrate :(
Oh well atleast he's a gannet :)
Although i was trying him on large mice today,so i hope he got it down.I can see his nose out the front again so he was real quick if he managed it. |
