So as you guys know, Duke ate a rat pup on Friday. Well (as a pup is a mere snack) tonight I put him in a fluff, turned off all the lights, left the room and then 5 minutes later snuck back in.
Duke had a certain fluff bum in his mouth and proceeded to give me a very cool show of him eating a rat bum first whilst standing vertically. I'm utterly in awe. He then preceeds to climb onto his log and start yawning his head off, so a bit more awe added. He then goes and has a massive drink of water, I'm overdosed with awe by this point.
That 10 minutes right there has just more than made up for every bit of worry I've gone through these past three weeks.

well done, but I wouldnt be feeding with timescales so close together is not the best idea, it has only just started eating with you and better to wait the 5 days and feed again, not just the 2 |

I agree, the digestive system is not quick enough, you could cause problems feeding too often.
Good news that he's happy to feed though. |

I won't be making a habit of it, just a one off. I just wanted to get a decent sized meal in him, he will now be fed weekly. |
