Hi, your corn's an adult, isn't she? This is my first spring with 4 fully adult corns (although 3 are only 2 years old; not breeding age yet)and they've been an absolute pain, roaming, fasting, grumpy or clinging ... they want husbands, poor loves!

Has Zuri made a mess or wee? That could account for the weight loss, I reckon, but hopefully there'll be someone more experienced along soon. All the best.

42 grams in that space of time I thought would be impossible without it having a big wee or a browner more solid deposit. I think you'd have to get the saw out and take a few inches off at the back for that kind of weight loss. Also are you sure your scales are accurate? (I wonder this a lot because I run a post office and pay a HUGE amount of money for 100% accurate scales and even those are serviced and also need recalibrating a few times a year)

Ah - that rings a bell ... I too have new, or new-ish digital scales, and the last time I tried to weigh Shahi they said he was about half his previous weight ... Then they flickered about (he was sitting quite still in a bowl I'd zeroed) and I thought it was the battery, but when I tested them with a pack of flour (more salt dough hides on the way lol) they worked perfectly.

Hey Stumpy, your scales aren't those Salter ones from Argos for around £9/10 are they?

It is a bit odd. I would still be inclined to blame the scales rather than your peepers but maybe she has been doing situps while you sleep, shifting those pounds.

(overlapped, think its the scales even more now)
