Is it best to feed at night when dark, Zuri usually comes out about 9.30 to the front of the viv, its just the last few tries to feed i have got him out about 6.00 pm and he flatly refuses to strike. My corn eats any time of day. Have left him 10 days this time so hopefully tonight might be the night. They really are a pain in the a... but wouldnt be without him. If you dont suceed try try and try again |

I would only ever try feed Duke at night, for the most part he's inactive through the day. I only put Duke's meals in his viv about 11pm then cover him over and the rat is normally gone by morning. Corns are dustbins, they really will eat anything at anytime in anyway, they aren't fussy.
Good luck tonight. |

I take mine out of the viv for feeding circa 9:30 also. The viv temps start to drop at 9 and they start getting active. They normally feed as soon as the rat has been offered, then its back in the viv for a rest. |

I generally like to feed all ours at around 8-9ish. Just from personal choice really, it makes it easier for me None of mine have ever missed a feed so I'm guessing they are happy with it lol. The coming out at 9:30 thing, could just be their nocturnal instints, which would tell them at night to naturally try finding food. |

I feed Shahi and Saada in the daytime - I get him out and point him at his climbing branch and he's straight into hunting mode; she waits in her hide and usually waits till the minute my back's turned, although I was honoured with a strike and coil a couple of feeds back.
Surahi, who is still fasting, refuses whatever - I've tried in the day, in the evening, leaving the rat in all night ...no. When she has eaten, she hasn't bothered if it's been daytime or not.
I think if they're in eating mode, they'll eat. If not, not.
LOL - AREN'T they a right pain in the whatsit eh?? Yeah, wouldn't be without mine either! |

Well it worked, fed him at 9.30 in viv, as normal tried to eat it sideways took him about 1 hr to sort himself out, so in future will feed late. Will have a peek in a minute to make sure all is ok. Thx alot to all |
