Well after a week of complete isolation (his choice not mine) Oscar has finally shed.... well when I say shed. His bottom half is all shiny and new but the top half has'nt gone so well. I have tried bathing him this evening and wrapping him in a towel which took some more off. I was wondering if there is anything else I can try or just to leave him and wait for it to come off naturally.

you could try putting him in a damp pillow case for half hour placed in viv, as he moves around should help lift some more skin

Yes, as Blackskull says - this really worked well for me (well, snakes, I mean!) in the recent heatwave.

hi another thing i did when monty had a bad shed, was put him in a old plastic sweet box with holes in the lid and placed it on top of a heat matt and filled the tub with moss. I left monty in there for a few hours and he came out with all his retained shed gone!! might be a idea to tape the lid on though! monty tried his best to escape![
