Here ya go ya ratty lot lmao

Here you can post ideas for your team mates to see and make suggestions. Also decide among yourselves who is going to cover specific points.
The last poster covers the rebuttals, picking fault in the mice posts on the main debate thread.

The mice are not allowed to spy in here and likewise any rat seen poking around the mice den will no doubt scoff the rat poison ..so don't!! lol

Okay, what's the plan?

Rats - they're not as stinky as mice. Anything that is stinky has got to be super bad for anybody.

Okay well since we've just got two people at the moment I think you should both start researching an issue each. The two main ones I think will win us the debate are nutritional value (I've always been told rats are more nutritious for snakes, is this true?) and the availability, maybe we could find a few rodent feed breeders and see what kind of stock they have mice to rats. We all have first hand experience of the difficulty of moving a snake from mice to rats so I imagine they will bring that up at some point, I'll do some research and see if it's a freak coincidence or if there is any weight to that argument. :)

Size is the main reason you go rats. It's a guaranteed win. Look at the biggest mouse and then look at a 3kg royal...

Natural prey is another thing.

Whoa... does anybody have a 3kg or thereabouts royal here? A photo of a big mama with a mouse would be very compelling case.

Scoring works like this:

There is a maximum of 10pts available on the following:

Analysis: How well does the debater understand the issues at hand? Is he/she able to separate the argument from the rhetoric? Does he/she recognize and focus on the key arguments in the debate?
Organization: Does the debater proceed in a coherent, fluent manner? Does he/she introduce and conclude his/her case well? Are his/her arguments easy to follow?
Evidence and Logic: Does the debater provide sufficient justification of his/her case, either by means of factual evidence or logical reasoning? Is the reasoning sound?
Debate Skills: How effective is the debater's presentation and overall approach to the debate? Is it suitable? Is his/her choice of language good? If appropriate, are wit and humor used well? Does he/she have presence and flair? Is the general approach to the debate appropriate and is it done well? (e.g. humorous, serious, and/or concerned)
Style: How well does the debater deliver his/her speech? Does it appear to be spontaneous or is it merely being copied?
Refutation: How effectively and how thoroughly does the debater refute his/her opponent's case and defend his/her own? This should occur BOTH in the official rebuttal and in the constructive speeches.
You can use quotes but you must show them in a separate colour and add the source.
