Has anyone used or is using Sanichips as a substrate for royals?
I'm thinking of trying them in my RUB rack once it's built
Thanks

Surrey pets does it too, though for some reason seems to recommend it for colubrids and geckos.
I wouldn't mind trying it out for the burrowers like Ziska and Shadrach - bet they'd love it, but with 14 snakes in the house, I tend to buy the biggest cheapest bales of substrate possible.
If I came across this at a price I wanted to pay, I'd definitely give it a go.
I saw them on surry reptiles and was put of by the colubrids recommendation, I've had a dig round on t'internet and it seems that a lot of US royal keepers and breeder use it. It's aspen based, just in a different form
Surry rep is showing them at about £4.50 per 11L. At that price I mite give them a go
