Just a small update after I checked on him and changed his water this morning :)
I also had to change the kitchen roll as it was quite wet..

One thing that he keeps doing is moving around the 2 plant pots - As they're very light, he just moves them when he touches them.
I even found them stacked together today! How the hell he managed that is beyond me.
Also, there was a small yellow thing that he was in there, any ideas onwhat it is? :S
And lastly, it seems to be quite humid in there - So i've cut several more holes in; is too much condensation.humidity a very bad thing? :(

Here's the picture I took :)

The small yellow thing is probably urates (solids wee) and quite normal. Too much humidity can be very bad for a Royal, you wouldn't want it much over 60% for long (50-60% is about right).

As BE says to much humidity is not good for royals...

have you got a heatmat under him as well? if so how much of it is being covered by the mat?

it only needs to be a third see if the water is over the heat source move it to the cold end...if there is room...

Yeh, I have moved it over to the colder side - and the heatmat is only a third under him :)

I'll cut in a lot more holes in too; to ease the humidity.
As the 2 plant-pots move a lot - Whenever I've checked him, he's on in them (Once we was under an upside down one ^^)
Will he be ok with it? I do put them back to how they ere when I check on him.. And I have card all around the sides of him, so it is nice and dark..

see if you can wedge the water bowl next to the hide in the cool end , should help it to stop moving so much..

then leave him alone..lol...he will be ok...

Alright, an update to date..

I picked up a rat pup, and tried to feed him last night.. No luck.
(I brained it + hairdryed it)
Left it in, and was still there in the morning :/
I weighed him at 55g, and i'd say he feels thinner then when I first got him..

I don't mind feeding live, but I don't know anywhere near me that I could get live rat pups from..
So what can I do next?
:(

Try feeding again in 5 days and if he refuses, weigh him the next day so that we can check weight loss.

Yeh, I do have an account.. It's Spedz.
I'm in Folkestone; but willing to travel anywhere to help him survive.

Wow, thanks danny.
Should I seek help from those you mentioned? Or do you reckon a live rat pup will stir him up enough?
Thanks for all your help guys :)
