You friend is asking for trouble. I'm sorry you're having troubles with yours (not through your fault), hopefully that's being fixed now, however, your friend could end up with a huge vet bill or two dead pythons. |

very true, and i dont know if the poor thing ever ate, as i could only take the word of the young person in world of water in staines. one thing for sure is that i wont ever get another animal from a pet shop ever again, and at the momnt im in 2 minds as to weather i will want another royal ever, i love them so much but i cant have any more animals die on me. never thought it would hurt so much. im a grown man and im upset over a snake i had for 8 weeks, lol. i feel so stupid. |

dont feel stupid...
and dont let it put you off getting another royal..just give yourself time to get over it..before getting another...and if you do get one, either ask to see a feeding record of it, or go where you can actually see it feeding 2 or 3 times before you bring one home..
if ever you do want one, then there are some good breeders around one who is not to far from you that will have royals that are feeding..but they are not hatched yet...
for what it is worth, many many baby royals will die because they wont feed, it is a sad fact..
just dont beat yourself up ok..you will have learnt from this.. |

maybe if you do get another royal then get an older one who is an established feeder..
and from a reputable breeder..once again, i am really sorry, if only you could have gotten hands on help sooner...
just remember we are here if you need help with any others..

i dont think i could have a fully grown snake, maybe a sub adult, its never the same if you dont see them grow. but will definitly be from a good breeder. where ever it may be.
