When you say its set up, have you got the heating on and sorted? - As its much easier to do this before the snake goes in.
Have fun |

Exploring, then you'll probably not see her for a while, perfectly normal. |

all normal as you can read from others. mine either found a hide. lay on top of one or some of them climbed a branch and sat there for a couple of hours. |

she has been settling in for a week, offered her some food today and she does not seem that interested. What do i do now - should i leave the food in the viv overnight? cheers simon |

I'd take it out and then try again when its dark, after 9 as they're nocturnal. If she still doesn't take it then you can leave it in overnight. If still no joy then try again in 5-7 days. |

as above. and make sure you warm the food item up well before offering . giving it a good blast with a hair dyer i think works best. then hold it a couple of inches away from her and give it a bit of a wiggle. if she is interested. she will come to it and there will be a lot of tougue flicking. |

right heated it up and offered her a rat pup and i also tryed a fluff mice....came up to both and that was it then just went back in her hide, i just changed her to a 9l rub which is smaller than a faunarium, how long do i need to wait to offer her food again? also i have treated her for mites as i did not know where she came from...... |

hiya hun, dont worry, just leave it another 5 days then try again, just offer one not both, we tend to get stressed more than they do. plus if you have just changed her from a rub to a faun, she is gonna need to settle in there. I had same prob with sheba, but be patient and she will eat when she is ready. :) |
